No eyelash tech wants to be known for a bad job, especially one as simple as lash stickies. Not only are lashes stuck together ugly, but they can also hurt your client’s natural lashes in the long run.

Proper isolation technique is essential. The lashes are more comfortable, and the overall design is not an eyesore; the better.

So, how do you make classic lashes? This blog will teach you how classic lashes differ from other types, what kind of lashes to use, and how to put on classic lashes.

Eyelash Care Tips

Taking care of your eyelashes is essential if you want them to look good and last a long time. We’ll tell you everything you need to know about taking care of your eyelash extensions so you can keep loving them and loving yourself.

Ensure to follow these essential care tips for your lash extensions to keep your lashes looking excellent!

Begin with a Clean Base

A Makeup Remover is an excellent way to start your skincare routine. This product doesn’t contain oil or alcohol, is safe for eyelash extensions, and is gentle enough to use daily as a cleanser for the whole face. It has hydrolyzed soy protein, which helps calm and hydrates your skin.

Put half a pump of makeup remover and wipe gently around the eyes and brows to eliminate any leftover makeup, oil, or dirt.

Keep Your Lashes Clean

What’s the sense of everything else if you don’t clean the essential part? Remember that healthy lashes are happy lashes! Keeping them clean is the best way to care for eyelash extensions.

The right tool for the job is an eyelash cleanser. But you can’t use just any eyelash cleanser—you need one made for eyelash extensions. Use your trusted products with the ones you might be using for a long time.

We don’t want any reaction to appear with your lashes and skin suddenly! Choose a formula that doesn’t have any oil, alcohol, parabens, gluten, or dairy in them. Those that also have a unique blend of 10 natural extracts that help reduce swelling and fight bacteria.

Together, these ingredients remove makeup and oil buildup gently and thoroughly. They also leave the skin soft and hydrated, which is excellent for keeping lashes in place.

We suggest putting the cleanser on our brush to clean your eyelashes. Then, gently wash the eyelid and lash line by sweeping your hand down. Rinse your eyes with clean water until you have removed all of the product.

After cleaning your lashes, let them dry naturally, then use your lash wand to brush them back into their fluffy shape gently!

Review Your Mascara

Looking at your mascara is a thing. Without wearing mascara, you can have beautiful, long, full lashes with lash extensions. We know that some of you will still want to wear mascara sometimes, and that’s fine.

But there’s a catch; you must keep something only for lash extensions because mascaras aren’t made for this matter.

Therefore, if you can’t live without mascara, make sure you only wear water-based mascara. This is not the same as waterproof mascara, so read the labels carefully. Yes, girl! Labels are life!

Use only one coat of mascara that is safe with lash extensions and only on the tips of your lashes. This is important, especially if you are a high-volume or hybrid guest.

Say No To Lash Friction!

Why rub or rub against your eyelash extensions if you don’t have to? Don’t scratch, pull, massage, or pull on your eyelashes. Some even switch to silk pillowcases to stop their heads from always touching their pillows.

But don’t worry about regular water contact! Activities like swimming and washing your face are safe with lash extensions. But make sure you have goggles before you surf, ride in a speedboat, or swim in salt water.

For our clients who avail of our classic lash extensions, you can ensure that we safely care for you!

Maintain Regular Refills

All the tips we’ve discussed are important, but this one is the most important. Keeping your appointments for refills every two weeks will help you save a full, lush line of lashes that turns heads.

The longer you wait between fills, the more your natural lashes will fall out. This will leave you with more gaps in your lash line and lashes that are too long in other places.

If you wait too long between lash refills, you may need a whole new set, which will take more time and cost more money.

Avoid Any Sticky Lashes

Like everything else, our natural eyelashes go through different stages. They keep growing and falling out, and each does it at its own pace. One lash might be just starting to grow, while the one next to it is about to fall out to make room for the next one.

When you don’t separate the lashes properly when putting on extensions, the lashes tend to stick together. These are called “lash stickies.”

When this happens, a lash about to fall out may pull on a lash that is just starting to fall out, which can hurt the follicle. This can cause long-term damage to the natural lashes and even bald spots if done often enough.

A Bit More Tip!

When you practice, you get better. We hear this a lot, and for a good reason: it’s true! To get better at isolating yourself, you need to do it repeatedly.

If you can’t find a person to practice on, start with one layer of fake lashes (called a “practice lash”) and work your way up to three layers to give yourself a challenge. But if you need an expert, contact us at Glamour Nail & Spa III.

We also have other services to offer, like manicures, waxing, and all for men! When you visit, check out more of this, and contact us at 859-777-7979Book an appointment right away!
